It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions (in particular Section 6, Cancellation & refunds) and our Privacy Policy.

3. When you are eligible for a refund

You are entitled to a full refund of the specific payment, including GST, in the following cases:

  • Report not delivered: we were unable to fetch your credit report or score due to a technical or bureau-side issue.
  • Duplicate payment: you were charged more than once for the same plan.
  • Plan not activated: your payment was successful but your plan was not activated within [24 hours].
Where our system detects that a report could not be fetched, the refund is initiated automatically. You do not need to raise a request.

4. What is not refundable

Because your score and report are delivered instantly once our credit bureau partner responds, the service is consumed at the moment of delivery. Refunds are therefore not available for:

  • A myScorr Starter purchase where your report was successfully delivered, except where required by law.
  • The unused portion of a myScorr Quarterly or Monthly billing year after you cancel. We do not offer partial or pro-rated refunds.
  • A score that is lower than expected, or that differs from a score shown by another bureau or app.
  • Not being approved for a loan, credit card or bank account by one of our partners.
  • Accounts suspended or terminated for breach of our Terms & Conditions.
Think your credit report has an error? That is not a refund case, but we can help. Report data comes from our credit bureau partner, and disputes are resolved through the bureau's own grievance channel. See our Grievance Redressal page.

5. Cancelling your plan

You can cancel myScorr Quarterly or myScorr Monthly at any time. There is no cancellation fee.

  1. Open the myScorr app and go to your Profile.
  2. Open your plan and select Cancel plan.
  3. Confirm. You will receive a confirmation by email showing the date your plan ends.
  • Your plan remains active, and your scheduled score refreshes continue, until the end of the current billing year.
  • Your past reports, score history and improvement plan remain available in the app after the plan ends.
  • Deleting the app does not cancel your plan.
  • [If your plan auto-renews: cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. We will remind you before every renewal.]

6. How to request a refund

For any eligible case that is not refunded automatically, write to alerts@myscorr.com within [7 days] of your payment, with:

  • Your registered mobile number;
  • Your order or invoice number, and the payment date;
  • The reason for your request, and a screenshot of the debit for payment-related issues.

We will review your request and respond by email within [3 working days], either confirming the refund or explaining why it is not eligible.

We will never ask for your OTP, UPI PIN, CVV or card number to process a refund. Refunds are only ever sent to your original payment method. If anyone asks for these details claiming to be myScorr, do not share them.

7. Refund timelines

Once approved, refunds are initiated within [2 working days]. The time taken to reflect in your account depends on your bank or payment provider:

Payment methodTypical time to reflect after initiation
UPI1 to 3 working days
Debit card / Credit card5 to 7 working days
Netbanking5 to 7 working days

We will share a refund reference number (ARN or UTR) by email, which you can quote to your bank to trace the refund. If it has not reached you within 7 working days of initiation, write to us and we will follow up with our payment gateway partner.

8. GST & invoices

  • A GST tax invoice is issued for every payment and is available in the My Purchases section of the app.
  • Refunds include the full GST amount you paid. Nothing is deducted.
  • For every refund, we issue a credit note against the original invoice.

9. Loans, credit cards & bank accounts

myScorr is a technology platform and facilitator. We are not a lender, not a bank and not a credit bureau. Loans, credit cards and bank accounts discovered through myScorr are provided solely by our RBI-registered NBFC and licensed banking partners.

  • Any fees, charges, cancellation, foreclosure or refund terms for these products are set by the relevant partner and disclosed to you by them, including in the Key Fact Statement for loans.
  • For digital loans, the lender's cooling-off or look-up period, during which you may exit the loan, is stated in your loan agreement and Key Fact Statement.
  • For refunds or cancellations on a product you have taken up with a partner, please contact that partner directly. Their grievance contacts are listed on our Financial Services Disclosures page, and we are happy to help you reach the right team.

10. Failed payments & chargebacks

Amount debited but payment shows as failed

This usually resolves on its own. If our payment gateway partner confirms the payment, your plan is activated automatically. If not, the amount is reversed to your account by your bank, typically within 5 to 7 working days. If neither happens, write to us with your transaction reference.

Chargebacks

We request that you contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank, as most issues are resolved faster directly with us. Where a chargeback is raised for a plan that was successfully delivered, we may share delivery records with your bank, and access to the plan may be paused while the dispute is open.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Changes apply to purchases made after that date.
